2002 Gretsch 6120
The Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins hollowbody is a throwback to the classic hollowbody guitars Chet Atkins made famous in the '50s and '60s. The flame maple top, back, and sides are absolutely stunning and lend a more modern vibe to this legendary guitar.
The ebony fingerboard is adorned with neo-classic thumbnail inlays. This guitar is loaded with High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups, and a gold Bigsby B6 tailpiece provides the classic "twang" that made Gretsch a favorite of country and rockabilly players.
I love this guitar. Tons of fun to play. This particular guitar was assembled in the USA which is unusual for Gretsch these days as their guitars are made in Japan, unless from their Custom Shop located in Corona, California.
